Dongseongno Street

📍 Daegu

Dongseongno literally refers to the road created by tearing down the eastern wall of Daegu Eupseong.

Running from Dongseongno 28 Art Square past CGV Daegu Hanil to Daegu Station, this stretch is Daegu's leading commercial center. It forms a broad commercial district encompassing Banwoldang Station and Dalgubeol-daero to the south, the area around Jungang-daero or Jongno to the west, Daegu Station to the north, and Gongpyeong-ro to the east.

Known as one of Daegu's signature attractions and a street overflowing with youthful energy and romance, Dongseongno is packed with countless fashion brand stores showing off the latest trends, alongside exhibitions, performances, and food of every kind.

The area is so well laid out that even first-time visitors can navigate it easily without getting lost. Close to downtown spots like Bongsan Culture Street and Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park, it makes a great central axis for exploring downtown Daegu.
