Mount Tenpozan, famous as Japan's lowest mountain at just 4.5m elevation. Its actual summit sits buried within the park, but a proper 'Tenpozan Summit' marker stands regardless. Right beside it stands a monument, the 'Site of Emperor Meiji's Naval Review,' commemorating when Emperor Meiji reviewed the new government's warships here in the first year of the Meiji era. Located near Tenpozan Harbor Village, it's also gaining attention as a hidden cherry-blossom viewing spot.
