Izumishikubosokinenbijutsukan Museum of Art

📍 Osaka

Opened in 1982 after the Kubosou family — who built their fortune in Izumi's cotton industry over three generations — donated their art collection, land, and funds. Home to about 12,000 East Asian art pieces including 2 National Treasures and 29 Important Cultural Properties, with rotating displays of Kamakura-to-Edo-era paintings, ukiyo-e prints, and ancient Chinese bronzes, all surrounded by a lush garden.

📸 Best photo spotPlease avoid flash photography indoors to protect the exhibits — outdoor exhibit areas, if any, are easier to shoot.
