Shimano Museum

A museum spread across 1st, 2nd, and 4th floors, vividly presenting the world history of bicycles, inventors' dreams, and the science and future of cycling through real bikes, panels, and video. The free 1st-floor zone lets visitors casually explore Sakai City's connection to bicycles, the 2nd-floor 'Beginnings of the Bicycle' zone traces the drama of its invention through panoramic footage, and the 4th floor displays a collection prized even by enthusiasts. Kids can try riding classic bicycles, and there are beginner cycling classes and other seasonal events too.
