Ogimachikoen Park

About a 15-minute walk east along Ogimachi-dori from central Osaka's Umeda district, or steps from Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line's Ogimachi Station. This park sits next to the colorfully designed Kids Plaza Osaka, featuring large play equipment like jungle gyms and mountain slides, a tunnel slide built into a small hill, a rock-climbing practice wall, and open grounds. Fountains, a small stream, seasonal flower beds, and a lawn plaza round it out, keeping it busy with children, families, and strolling seniors. Nearby office workers can often be seen unpacking lunch here during their breaks. The grounds also hold Ogimachi Pool (with table tennis and multipurpose rooms) and the Osaka City North Parks Office, and it's a short walk to the roughly 2.6km-long Tenjinbashisuji shopping street.
