Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

One of the world's largest aquariums, built around the theme of the 'Pacific Rim' and recreating ocean environments from across the Pacific across multiple levels. Visitors descend a spiral walkway around a huge central tank, offering views of a massive whale shark swimming by from many different angles and heights. Located in the Tempozan area near Osaka Port, it pairs easily with the nearby Ferris wheel.
