Hiraokakoen Park

Hiraokakoen Park

📍 Osaka

Gateway to the Mount Ikoma hiking trails (Nukata and Narukawa areas) and a park famous for its varied slides built into the natural terrain, enjoyed by hikers and families alike. The lush forest at the mountain's base offers year-round nature walks, and the scenic Hiraoka Plum Grove — with white, pink, and red blossoms in both single and double forms — blooms from January through March across early, mid, and late varieties. From the Nukatayama and Hiraokayama observation decks, clear days reveal the whole Osaka Plain, all the way to Awaji Island.

📸 Best photo spotOpen lawns or spots near the pond make good backdrops — even better during flowering season.
