Geochang is one of Korea's most notable high-altitude apple-growing regions. Big day-night temperature swings in its mountain terrain produce especially sweet apples, and cultivation here traces back to a first planting by a farming family in Geochang-eup in the 1930s.
This theme park is an exhibit-and-experience space built to let visitors take in the local apple with all five senses. There's an exhibit hall covering apple history, varieties, and cultivation, plus hands-on cooking programs like making apple rose pie or apple pizza. Kid-friendly activities like making your own cup are also on offer, making it a popular stop for families.
Many of the experience programs require advance reservation, and same-day sessions can fill up once materials run out — calling ahead is the safer bet. Hours are a relatively short 10am–5pm, so plan your visit time accordingly.
It sits close to Geochang's other headline spots — Suseungdae, Geochang Museum, and Geochang Changpowon — making it easy to combine into one route.
