On the ridge of 1,046m Udusan Mountain, a bridge linking three peaks in the shape of a Y — Korea's first pier-free Y-shaped suspension bridge.
It sits inside Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, a forest recreation facility run by Geochang County. Three spans of 40m, 24m, and 25m meet at a single point with no supporting piers, forming the Y — a structure large enough to hold up to 230 people at once, and recognized as one of the Korea Tourism Organization's top wellness tourism sites.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the entrance to the summit, and the ridge trail isn't entirely gentle. From the bridge, ranges of mountains and valleys unfold directly below your feet.
Honestly, though, the uphill stretch means comfortable shoes are a must, and on windy days the bridge sways noticeably — worth thinking twice if you're uneasy with heights.
Joining a forest therapy program waives the admission fee, so it's worth checking the schedule if the timing works for you.
Hours run 09:00-17:50 (March-October) or 09:00-16:50 (November-February), closed every Tuesday. Admission is ₩3,000 for ages 7-64; parking is ₩500 per 30 minutes (₩5,000/day max). Address: 834 Uisangbong-gil, Gajo-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam.
