Shisuigaoka Park sits on a low hill of about 100 metres on the eastern edge of town, with an excellent view down over the Yura River. It faces Fujiyama Park across the water, and the setting — hills and clear water together — is what gave the park its name. Cherry and azalea come out in spring, followed by fresh green in summer and maples in autumn, each season pairing with the same wide view over the town below. There is play equipment for small children, larger combination structures, adventure apparatus, and both parking and toilets on site.
