Kyotofuritsutanbashizenundokoen Park

Tamba Nature Park spreads across the Tamba highlands as a full recreation complex — a certified athletics stadium, 16 tennis courts, baseball fields, a family pool, a gym and even lodging. But the best of it is quieter: the cherry and maple walking paths through the natural woodland zone, good for wildflowers and a slow forest walk. Each season brings its own planting, from Yoshino cherries and tulips in spring to cosmos and a chrysanthemum show in autumn. The park's own Tamba Astronomy Hall houses a large computer-controlled reflecting telescope used for night-sky observation.
