Sandanikekoen Park

Sandanike Park is a large all-purpose park ringed by woodland and pine, well known locally for its cherry blossom and azaleas. Inside the grounds are a zoo, a botanical garden and a children's science hall, alongside a gymnasium, a martial arts hall, tennis courts and a multi-purpose ground. A 1.3-kilometre path circles the pond at the centre, planted so there's something in flower most of the year, and there are open areas set aside for camping and barbecues. The big lawn and the adventure playground with its large combination play structure are the parts children head for first.
