Otajinja Shrine
📍 KyotoOta Shrine is an auxiliary shrine of Kamigamo, standing outside its main grounds. East of the approach lies the Ota marsh with its colony of rabbitear iris, a designated natural monument, which the poet Fujiwara no Shunzei wrote about. The deep purple flowers begin opening around the start of May.
