Onodamukoen Park

📍 Kyoto

Laid out on the riverbank beside the Ono Dam reservoir, this park is one of the finest cherry blossom spots in Kyoto Prefecture and fills with people in spring. Cherries and maples were planted here in 1985 to mark thirty years since the towns merged. A cherry festival is held in April and a maple festival in November.

📸 Best photo spotOpen lawns or spots near the pond make good backdrops — even better during flowering season.
