Mukojinja Shrine
📍 KyotoMuko Shrine, known familiarly as Myojin-san, was founded in 718. Its main hall, built in the Muromachi period, is a national Important Cultural Property, and many of the other buildings in the grounds are Registered Tangible Cultural Properties. Beyond the great torii, a paved approach runs between rows of mature trees, forming a tunnel of cherry blossom in spring and of coloured maple in autumn.
