Maizurushiritsuakarengahakubutsukan Museum

📍 Kyoto

The Maizuru Brick Museum is the only museum in the world devoted to brick, introducing unusual bricks from around the globe alongside the history of brick in Japan. It occupies a converted naval ordnance warehouse built in 1903, which makes the building itself a valuable piece of brick architecture. It is a national Important Cultural Property and part of Maizuru's Japan Heritage designation.

📸 Best photo spotPlease avoid flash photography indoors to protect the exhibits — outdoor exhibit areas, if any, are easier to shoot.
