Kenshoji Temple
📍 KyotoKenshoji is closely associated with the poet Yosa Buson. In 1754 he came here to visit his fellow poet Chikukei and stayed at the temple for over three years, devoting himself to painting. In the garden stand a large natural stone inscribed with his verse on the short summer night — not yet deep among the pines of the six-league road — and a figure of Buson himself.
