Itsukaharakofun

Itsukahara Kofun is a keyhole-shaped mound thought to date from the beginning of the 4th century, the early Kofun period. No excavation has been carried out, so the details are unknown, but its form is typical of the period: 91 metres overall, with a rear circular section 54 metres across and about 9 metres high, and a front section around 40 metres long and 4 metres high. It forms part of the Otokuni Kofun Group historic site.
