Clayarch Gimhae Museum

The name Clayarch Gimhae Museum combines "Clay," referring to earth and ceramics, with "Arch," referring to architecture. True to its name, the museum explores the future of architectural ceramics through collaboration between science, art, education, and industry.

It reexamines the often-overlooked relationship between ceramics and architecture, and has played a leading role in the growing global field of architectural ceramics. Rather than simply displaying finished works, it also showcases the process of building a culture around the field, sharing techniques, and connecting them to industry.

The exhibition space is split between the Dome House and Cubic House — and the contrast between the buildings' curved and angular forms visually captures the meeting point of ceramics and architecture, making the building itself worth exploring even before you step inside.

Open 10:00-18:00 (ticket sales until 17:00), closed Mondays (or the following day if Monday falls on a public holiday). Admission: 5,000 KRW for the Dome House, 1,000 KRW for the Cubic House, 6,000 KRW combined. Parking available (about 166 small vehicles, 4 large, 8 accessible spots).
