This mural village was created in 2013 as an urban renewal project to revive a declining residential area. Each alley is themed around a different world-famous fairy tale — Snow White’s alley and Alice in Wonderland’s alley among them — with 11 themed lanes and scattered sculptures throughout.
This isn’t an outdoor museum but an actual residential neighborhood, so keep noise down and avoid photographing into people’s doorways or yards. Walking uphill connects naturally to Jayu Park and Chinatown, making it easy to combine into a half-day route.
Entry is free and the village is open at all times; the hilly, stepped alleys call for comfortable shoes.
