Construction on the Seomyeon Underground Shopping Center began July 23, 1984, and it opened around August 1985 — just weeks after Seomyeon Station (Line 1) itself opened that July, making it one of Busan's oldest underground shopping arcades.
The complex runs along a 24m-wide, 412m-long corridor connecting Seomyeon and Bujeon stations, lined with about 212 stores skewed toward clothing, accessories, and footwear.
Inside, you'll find a sculpture of the Oryukdo Islands, one of Busan's best-known symbols.
