Sangdong Lake Park

Sangdong Lake Park is the largest park in Bucheon by area. As the name suggests, a large man-made lake sits at its center, ringed by a 2.5km path that's been a steady favorite for walking and jogging.

It's also home to Bucheon's only X-games facility — an extreme sports area for skateboarding, inline skating, and the like — which gives the park an interesting mix: quiet strollers and active sports enthusiasts sharing the same space.

The seasonal flower displays are another draw: cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring, hydrangeas in summer, and autumn foliage all appear around the lake in turn. At night, lights come on around the water, and it's known as a good spot for an evening stroll too.

Open anytime, free, no closed days, so there's no need to plan around hours — and parking is available. It sits close to Starfield City Bucheon, making it easy to combine into the same trip.
