Kokyo Gaien National Garden

A plaza spread before the main gate of the Imperial Palace, best known for the twin bridges of Nijubashi — Tokyo's most iconic photo spot. The palace grounds themselves are normally closed, but the view of the bridge, stone walls, and moat from this garden already captures the classic scene. The wide lawn dotted with neatly arranged pine trees also makes for a pleasant stroll.
