Kanda Myojin Shrine

Kanda Myojin Shrine

📍 Tokyo

A shrine said to have been founded in 730, revered during the Edo period as a guardian deity of the castle under special shogunate protection. Today, thanks to its proximity to nearby Akihabara, it's famous for selling omamori charms collaborated with anime and game characters, drawing frequent visits from IT and subculture industry workers. The vermillion-lacquered gate tower and the main hall's ornate decoration are well worth seeing.

📸 Best photo spotShoot from directly in front of the Zuishinmon Gate to show off its vivid vermilion color.
