Hama-rikyu Gardens

Once a detached palace garden for the Edo-period shogunate, this garden is known for its "tide pond" that draws in seawater, so the pond's level actually rises and falls with the tides. Beyond the garden, the skyscrapers of Shiodome and Ginza layer up as a backdrop, letting you capture a single photo blending the old garden with modern Tokyo. A Sumida River water bus pier also sits within the garden grounds.
