Dosan Park is named for and holds the graves of independence activist and educator Ahn Chang-ho — known by his pen name, Dosan — and his wife. Inside the park, the Dosan Ahn Chang-ho Memorial Hall covers his life and his role in Korea's independence movement.
Despite sitting right in the middle of Apgujeong and Sinsa-dong's glitzy shopping streets, the park is shaded by dense trees, making it a quiet break from a day of shopping.
The park itself is open 24 hours; the memorial hall is open daily 10 AM-6 PM (closed Jan 1 and on major holidays).
