The Tteok Museum specializes in Korean rice cakes (tteok) and the seasonal foods eaten around traditional holidays. Exhibits cover the tools used to make tteok, its regional and historical varieties, and the meaning behind the different rice cakes eaten at each holiday.
It's close to Jongno 3-ga Station, making it easy to pair with a visit to Insadong or the Ikseon-dong hanok village.
Open Monday-Saturday, 10 AM-6 PM (last entry 5:30 PM); closed Sundays and on Lunar New Year/Chuseok.
