Lotte World Adventure

Lotte World Adventure

📍 Seoul

Beside Seokchon Lake in Jamsil and attached to Lotte World Tower, this is the world's largest combined indoor-outdoor theme park. Opened in 1989, it is the most accessible amusement park in downtown Seoul, with an indoor Adventure zone, an outdoor Magic Island, and an indoor ice rink.

The indoor zone is largely weatherproof, and signature rides like Atlantis and Gyro Drop are popular. At night, the castle lighting and parades make it a photo spot, and it is a frequent filming location for Korean dramas and variety shows.

Honest tips: popular rides commonly see waits of over an hour on weekends and holidays — visiting on a weekday right after opening is the most efficient approach. The day-pass price varies by season and has risen to the high 60,000-won range for adults, so check the official site beforehand. A Magic Pass (paid fast track) cuts waits. Jamsil station connects directly, and pairing it with a Seokchon Lake stroll makes a full day.

ℹ️ Travel infoDaily 10:00–21:00 (until 22:00 Fri–Sat), last entry 1 hour before close. Adult day pass around KRW 67,000 (prices change often — check the official site). Directly connected to Jamsil Station (Lines 2 & 8), Exit 4.
📸 Best photo spotStand in the outdoor Magic Island park with Lotte World Tower behind you to frame rides and the skyscraper in one shot. The 2nd-floor walkway railing overlooking the ice rink is another popular photo spot.
