Jamsil Sports Complex

Jamsil Sports Complex

📍 Seoul

Centered on the main stadium of the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the Jamsil Sports Complex is a pilgrimage site for K-pop fans and the heart of live KBO baseball — KSPO Dome and the indoor arena host large-scale concerts by global K-pop stars, while Jamsil Baseball Stadium stages Korean professional baseball.

Jamsil Baseball Stadium is Korea's largest, seating about 25,000, and its fan-cheer culture is distinctive enough to be popular with foreign visitors. The nearby Jamsil Els, Lotte World Tower, and Seokchon Lake cluster into one route.

Honest tips: on concert or game days nearby traffic seizes up and hotels and restaurants fill — book ahead and arrive early. Live baseball runs only in season (March to October) and advance tickets are essential. KSPO Dome concert tickets often sell out the moment they go on sale. Sports Complex station exits 6 and 7 connect directly, and Jamsil station is also close.

ℹ️ Travel infoStadium/arena hours vary by event (tickets required); outdoor grounds always open. Directly connected to Sports Complex Station (Line 2) Exit 6/7.
📸 Best photo spotFraming the main stadium's curved roofline from the Olympic-daero side is the classic shot; on concert days you can also catch the light displays.
